Bushido Studios offers semi-private Yoga lessons that
are taught for people with all levels of experience.
The class sizes are managed carefully to not exceed
10 students at a time. That way, each student gets the
individual attention needed to have a fulfilling Yoga
experience. This also helps minimize the risk of injury
due to improper positioning in various poses.
• Hatha Yoga: These alignment
based Hatha Yoga classes incorporate elements of Anusara,
Iyengar and Kripula. Students of all levels are welcome
to attend. Each week, the classes are focused around
a central theme (e.g., anatomical focus, breathing,
meditation, backbends, forward bends, inversions, etc.),
so as to add variety to our exploration of yoga and
our bodies.
• Prenatal Yoga: This class is
particularly geared for expecting moms. Yoga can be
a wonderful experience for pregnant woman during all
three trimesters. Previous yoga experience is a plus,
but not required for participation in this class.
• Saturday Series Workshops: Two
hour workshops are conducted periodically throughout
the semester to delve deeper into the many ways that
yoga can and should be incorporated into our everyday
lives. Past workshops have included “Yoga for
Stress Relief,” “Yoga for Discipline”
and “Yoga for Desk Jockeys.”
The
Yoga program at Bushido Studios is a great way to gain
strength and flexibility in an environment that is conducive
to relaxation. Many people are beginning to learn about
the all-around health benefits that are attributable
to practicing Yoga.
